65 & Crabby

This weekend we threw a big bash for my dad's 65th birthday. The theme was "65 and Crabby" for a few reasons, one being that he's a marine environmental consultant. My mom loves to go over the top with the theme so this was an easy one for her to go way overboard....

My present to my dad. A picture of the anchor from the cruise we just went on. I propped it in front of the guest book since it went with the theme!
The treasure chest. Filled with lots of goodies and chocolate crab lollipops to take home.
Crab bread bowl. A local bakery went above and beyond to get this one done. It was whole wheat too!!

We wore sailor hats as our name tags. My mom was the first and last mate.

Looks a bit like a haunted house, but nautical themed decor was all over the place, including the dining room chandelier.
Craig's Crabby Cocktail. Made by me of course!
The amazing cake. Ginger on the bottom, white chocolate raspberry on top. Yum!
