Photo Fun

I've had my camera for nearly 4 months now. I still have no clue how to properly use it. I take a lot of pictures, which has always been the way I learn. I learn by doing. I have a huge book on my nightstand for the Rebel, but I've yet to tackle it. I have plans to go out with a friend to take pictures and have her teach me the ISO, aperture and how to adjust the settings to take the best pictures. I take pictures of mostly dogs and food, for obvious reasons. I've entered a few photo contests where my creativity vs. my photography skills have allowed me to get some recognition.
